Millennial Square.

Millennial Square is a mixed use project in Warner Robins, Georgia. The program consists of Retail, Restaurant, Lounge, Roof Terrace, and Residential spaces. Site topography allows the architecture to take advantage of grade change creating a terracing axis bifurcating business from retail functions. This axis is the manifestation of the nearby street’s energy being visually manifest and pressing on and finally rupturing the form creating the axis with additional energy escaping and splitting the residential block creating a courtyard that swells meeting the axial public space allowing a social mixing space for all project functions.

Formal, color, and material cues visually communicate to the visitor the differences between public and residential functions on the site. Subtle cues like these reinforce the formal relationship of mercantile and residential in the project.
