ABOUT PLEXUS R+D
Established in 1999, plexus r+d is an internationally acclaimed Atlanta architecture firm focusing on the development of engaging and innovative interior and architectural environments that are informed by a sophisticated understanding of the specific milieu that encompasses each design challenge.
We are a group of curious and creative thinkers that approach design as a collaborative process which gives rise to design solutions that uniquely reflect your lifestyle, personal design goals and aesthetic tastes. Our primary goal is to help you create a thoughtful and engaging scene that responds to your needs and inspires your senses, culminating in a system of spaces that reflect your unique site and situation.
PRINCIPAL
Erik W. Lewitt
With 30 years of experience, Erik W Lewitt is a principal of plexus r+d in architecture, interiors and master planning projects of all types and sizes. Past projects include commercial, corporate, educational, government, retail and entertainment facilities. Mr. Lewitt has extensive experience working with Fortune 500 companies to create dynamic workplace environments that are efficient and inspire their users.
Mr. Lewitt performed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, and received his Master of Architecture degree from Princeton University in 1992. He has taught design studios at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Southern Polytechnic State University and has served as a guest critic at the Boston Architectural Center.
PRINCIPAL
Jordan Williams
Jordan Williams is a principal of plexus r+d. He has 30 years of experience in architecture, interiors and master planning projects of varying types and sizes. Past projects include commercial, educational, institutional, retail, entertainment and residential facilities.
Mr. Williams has substantial experience retrofitting existing buildings, creating dynamic new opportunities for outdated or under-utilized structures. Mr. Williams performed his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, and received his Master of Architecture degree from Princeton University in 1992. Mr. Williams has taught design studios at the Georgia Institute of Technology, the Boston Architectural Center and Southern Polytechnic State University. While at the Boston Architectural Center, Mr. Williams received an Architectural Education Research Grant to explore design methodology and notions of authorship in architectural design. Mr. Williams also received a Visiting Artists Fellowship to the American Academy in Rome in 1998.
